Working Principle

The chamber filter press operates by pumping slurry into a series of filter chambers formed by recessed filter plates and filter cloths. As pressure increases, the liquid portion of the slurry passes through the filter cloth and exits through dedicated drainage channels, while solid particles are retained within the chambers.

As filtration continues, the filter cake gradually thickens inside each chamber until it reaches its maximum capacity. After the filtration cycle is completed, the filter plates are opened, and the filter cakes are discharged manually or automatically depending on the equipment configuration. The system is then ready for the next filtration cycle.

This pressure filtration process ensures excellent solid-liquid separation performance and high filtration efficiency.
